Wait & Load or Cage Tipper Service is an alternative service to skip hire services that won’t require you to purchase any expensive permits. The vehicles are suitable for difficult access or for small or special quantities and are widely used on construction projects.

Our Advice

If you have a site that has limited access and/or needs timed collections, then a wait and load service is most suitable. The service is often used where waste needs to be cleared quickly and the vehicle arrives at a specific timeslot to immediately clear the waste and go. This service is also employed where a specific waste stream needs to be cleared that has been kept separate from other wastes. Examples of this would include plasterboard, gas bottles, bagged asbestos, and bulky items.

The Wait & Load service can be a vital component when planning your construction project, especially in the aforementioned examples.

How would it be collected?

“Wait & Load” describes itself perfectly and options for these services can be added labour, timeslots, and specially training for drivers where hazardous waste are to be moved compliantly.

One of the advantages of this service is that the waste streams to be collected can be loaded separately for improved recycling and processing options.

How is general waste recycled?

As mentioned above the fact that the waste streams are loaded separately reduces the chances of cross contamination and therefore increases recycling options. However, Wait & Load services are often used for waste streams that needs to kept segregated on site such plasterboard and hazardous wastes.
